Frequently Asked Questions

  • Alana will have asked you to complete a link to an online initial assessment questionnaire at least 24 hours prior to the first session. This will likely take in the region of around 15 minutes to complete and is quite comprehensive. All information is completely confidential.

    Alana will use this information to gain a good understanding of some of your history, what you are experiencing, and what you are looking for some help with. The initial consult allows us to review this information, clarify anything further needed, perform any necessary examination, and discuss the options of how we are going to move forward working together to achieve your desired outcomes.

    Usually the first session will also involve starting on agreed treatment protocol, and discussing and potentially booking a course of follow up sessions.

  • 1 hour Initial Assessment £85 (in person)

    Human Design readings (online or in person)

    75 mins £250 (includes 72 hours after session access via WhatsApp for any additional questions/clarification)

  • Just yourself! Ideally in comfortable clothing (thin, light leggings/tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt are ideal, but I can treat through most clothes). The cabin is usually toasty warm!

    Feel free to bring a journal to jot down any insights during or after your session.

    Some water is always a good idea (or something hydrating).

    There is no toilet facilities in my cabin. There is a toilet in the house, but it it is accessible by a steep flight of stone steps and is only available for emergencies, or during the retreats.

    On the retreat day feel free to bring your journal, socks/slippers, some lunch if appropriate (nibbles and. drinks will be provided) and a blanket.

  • Human design readings can be booked on a one-off basis, however I would always suggest we break it down into more manageable sittings rather than just the one, as it can be a lot to digest, unless there is something more specific you want to know.

    If you decide to work with me on a deeper or more hands-on level, then these will involve a course of sessions. This we will discuss on the initial consolation, and will help your body adjust at its own pace to achieve more sustainable results. This can be arranged according to your desired outcome, availability etc, but I would recommend we start with at least 1-2 sessions per week for the first few weeks whilst we learn how your body responds.

  • I have capacity to do both, although it depends what it is you are wanting.

    Hands-on and Retreats needs to be in person, but any additional mentoring and human design work can be arranged online from the comfort of your own home where appropriate.

  • If you want to get to the bottom of what’s going on, and not just a quick fix, then I’m your girl! 

    You might have tried other things to help to remove the pain, symptom, stress, or anxiety, but not got the results you were after. You may not be a fan of, or have already tried other more clinical or mainstream approaches, and still not achieved what you desire.. If you feel called to learning how to tap more into your bodies own wisdom, then this could be the way forward. A gentle, relaxing, intuitive approach of deeper understanding and taking responsibility for your own bodies health and well-being.
