Who will be treating me?

Alana Edwards
Bsc Chiro

Human Design Coach

Alana has worked as a registered chiropractor since 2008, after completing her 5 year degree at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Abingdon, Oxford. As of 15th Dec 2021 she has allowed her GCC registration to expire, so is legally no longer able to call herself a ‘chiropractic’. She uses gentle adjustments of both McTimoney and Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) techniques to help reduce stress and tension in the body. She provides mentoring to work either alone or alongside the structural work.  This offers guidance and tools to help her clients improve their fulfilment, flow and find more alignment  in their lives.  This has shown great benefits such as  reducing stress levels, creating more ease (less disease), and improvements in health and wellness.

Alana is passionate about maintaining the well being of herself and her clients. She loves yoga, mindful movement, walking and meditates daily. She strongly believes that problems in our health happen as a result of not just structural misalignment, but from imbalances in our emotional and spiritual health too. A symptom is a sign from the body that something in our life is not serving us. You wouldn’t just turn off the engine management light on your car without looking for the underlying cause. Same with symptoms, they are a sign that something needs to change. Health is about helping all the systems of our bodies to work in harmony. To do this we need our nervous system to be working as efficiently as possible so that information from all these systems can be received, evaluated and responded to by your body. That’s where Alana’s help comes in!

The gentle and adaptable techniques and guidance never cease to astound Alana with the results that can be achieved. It is suitable for so many people of all walks of life, including her 95 year old grandma!
